Transparent, full-function support for Microsoft Outlook.The Scalix Email and Calendaring Platform natively supports the MAPI interface and Microsoft Outlook, providing email, personal and group calendaring, contact management, task management, public folder and directory capabilities. Full-function support of Microsoft Outlook is a key part of Scalix’s clients of choice architecture, which also encompasses support for a broad range of POP, IMAP and wireless clients running on any desktop platform, including Windows, Linux/Unix and Mac.

Next-generation power web client, Scalix Web Access, delivers the look and feel, usability and performance of a desktop application through a web browser. Popular features such as drag’n drop, a three-pane user interface and pull-down menus are common in desktop applications, but unheard of in web-based interfaces.
